Thursday night, it was dress rehearsal for the senior recital. Grandma and Grandpa W drove over to watch the dress rehearsal and spend some time with the grandkids. It went very well and we were home by 11. Very late dinner and then off to bed we went. Here are some pics from dress rehearsal. I was backstage for a few so I couldn't get pics of all her dances.
Friday morning, grandma/pa came over and we were going to go to the park for a few hours before it was time to get back here to start getting ready for senior recital. M misbehaved so grandma/pa and N went off without M and I. M went to his room and stayed there till after his nap, hopefully he'll learn to make better choices. N and grandma/pa brought lunch for us. They left a little later, then N rested till it was time to get ready for recital. Senior recital went great, it was storming pretty bad that evening, but we didn't lose power (thank god!) and nobody got soaked. We were home by 11 again and it was off to bed because our Saturday was going to start early.
Saturday morning, I was up by 8, ran to the store for milk and lunch items for N and I since we didn't have time to go anywhere between junior recital/rehearsals. By 9:45, we were out the door and on the way to the junior dress rehearsals. I was working fast change during the juniors so I don't have any pics or videos but I look forward to seeing the DVD's when they come out. I stood in the wings and watched tho, N did SOOOOO good leading her little ones in the Combo I classes. Lunchtime between dress rehearsals, then we did it all over again... We were home by 7:30, early bed for Sunday recitals.
Sunday went great also, the weather wasn't the greatest, but once again, we kept power AND no soaked dancers... Fast change was ALOT of fun and I can't wait to help again next year. We were home by 7:30. So dance is over for a few weeks, then summer term starts, then dance team camp.
